As such, Allora Network Community Advocates play a pivotal role in creating and curating an ever-growing, self-improving library of knowledge. Your work will help drive the advancement of the Allora Network, extending its influence across industries.

For your efforts as an Allora Network Community Advocate, you will gain access to an extensive network of developers, creators, and thought leaders all shaping the future of decentralized AI. Additional benefits of becoming an Advocate include:

• Professional Advancement–The Advocate Program will connect you with the Upshot team, who are the original creators of Allora. You will also have the opportunity to connect with Allora’s partner projects, and find opportunities that can lead to new professional roles, creative collaborations, friendships, and more. All of which can become new highlights for your resume and portfolio.
• Community–Work with some of the most influential figures and projects in AI and build relationships with other passionate Advocates. Enjoy the benefits of a built-in community at conferences, hackathons, and other Allora-specific events as the network expands.
• Technical resources–Allora will not only host its own hackathons, but you will also receive assistance in joining external hackathons and hosting your own hackathons.
• Regular Mastermind Calls–Join regular calls where the engineering teams building Allora will answer technical questions and provide feedback on your content, ML models, and dApps. As the eyes and ears of the community, your contributions and input are invaluable. In exchange, you’ll receive exclusive access to our team and insights that no one else gets.
• Merch–Receive a welcome package with exclusive Allora Network-branded merchandise.

Through your participation in the Advocate Program, you can expect to garner technical expertise in AI and blockchain, learn more about content creation and distribution, develop your leadership skills, deepen your understanding of decentralized governance, and more.

Who Would Make a Good Community Advocate?

We are building a technical community that is passionate about AI, and eager to create content — video, written, and otherwise — regardless of experience. Therefore, community members could be:

• Software engineers
• Junior developers straight out of boot camps
• College grads looking to get their foot in the door in crypto and AI
• Interns currently working in the field who want to advance
• ML model creators
• Anyone interested in AI and/or blockchain

This is not about hype; it’s about participation from high-quality, technically-curious people in hackathons, content creation, and advancement of the Allora Network. We want driven, ambitious people who view their advocacy as an opportunity for professional growth.

Good Allora Community Advocates generally do a combination of the following:

• Provide mentorship to new members
• Create high-quality technical content
• Translate Allora Network content into their native language
• Create meme content
• Connect other Advocates to valuable opportunities
• Host in-person meetups

To maintain membership, advocates are expected to attend the regularly scheduled meetings. Those who fail to consistently show up and participate will lose access to program benefits. We also expect advocates to regularly create content and/or attend hackathons.

Please note that all Advocate-created content will be approved by the Allora team before publication.
